Training cards
To continue their postdoctoral training in Québec, all candidates must hold a training card. This card indicates:
- the postdoctoral university training program in which the resident is registered;
- the training sites where the resident must serve his or her training periods as well as their duration;
- the training level of the resident.
Residents may perform professional acts in keeping with their training level in those places accredited or approved by the CMQ, all of which will come under the authority of competent persons and, particularly, respect medical ethics. Fellows must also have a registration certificate and a training card.
All persons completing training periods in establishments in the Province of Québec must register with the Collège des médecins du Québec and hold a training card, before signing a contract with an establishment.
Before making your application, you can read the instructions.
