Fellow

Conditions

The fellow

• is listed on the Register of Fellows of the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ);
  
• may perform, from among the professional acts that may be performed by physicians, those that are required to complete the advanced training periods in the clinical or research settings where the training is to be served, as cited on his or her training card;
  
• performs these professional acts under the authority of competent people, while respecting the rules applicable to physicians, notably those related to ethics, the issuing of prescriptions, and the keeping of records and consulting rooms;
  
• may not perform a professional act unless he or she has met the conditions for the issuance of a training card for fellows.

When the training card is obtained, the registration certificate is conferred with it.
