Authorization and written confirmation

 Upon receiving the documents indicated in the above-mentioned Step 4, the Collège will proceed with certain checks. When these checks are completed, the Collège will determine whether the documents sent comply with the terms and conditions provided for in the Regulation respecting the practice of the medical profession within a partnership or a company.

• If the documents sent are complete and comply with requirements, the Collège will send the physician/respondent or his/her representative written confirmation that members of the Collège concerned by the application are authorized to engage in professional activities within the company or partnership. The written confirmation will specify the date on which the authorization becomes valid, which is the date on which all the required and complete documents are received. The Collège will include an RAMQ kit along with the written confirmation. 
  
  
• If the documents sent are incomplete or do not comply with requirements, the Collège will contact the physician/respondent or his/her representative, informing the person that the application is incomplete or does not comply with requirements and indicating what must be done to put it in order.
