Information included in this directory

The directory of members of the Collège des médecins du Québec makes public information concerning Québec physicians readily and continuously available to the public as well as to physicians, network agencies and health professionals. This directory provides certain items of information on members in good standing of the Collège des médecins du Québec, namely:

• the name, the first name
• the gender
• the specialty or specialties, if applicable
• the type of permit
• the status (including practice restrictions, if applicable)
• the address of the principal place of practice

The directory is not a membership roll or a referral service. The Collège cannot guarantee that a physician will accept new patients.

Updating

The data in this directory is updated regularly and matches the most recent information given to the Collège by physicians. The latter are responsible for promptly informing the Collège of any change.

Information not included in this directory

It is possible to obtain the following Information by phone during the opening hours, at 514 933-4441:

Extension 5589

• Information concerning physicians who are deceased, struck from the roll, retired, or whose permit has been revoked
• The nature of the practice restrictions
• Information on disciplinary questions

Extension 5393

• Information related to  transfers or provisional custody of medical records.
