Executive Office


The mandate of the Executive Office (EO) is to implement the decisions and orientations of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. The EO fulfils the legal mandate and broad functions defined in the Professional Code, the Medical Act and their associated regulations.

The Executive Office is composed of the Collège’s senior management: the president and chief executive officer, the secretary and the assistant secretary.

The Executive Office’s functions are divided into five sectors: 

Provision of support to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee
Committees, meetings, gatherings, working groups
Annual Orientation Day 

Coordination and management of the divisions 
Governance Committee
Statutory meetings with physician executives and personnel 

Medico-legal affairs 
Management of the Roll of the Order
Registration certificates
Notices concerning medical practice

External affairs
Partner relations
Québec Interprofessional Council
Other professional orders in the health sector
Medical organizations
Government tables 

Communications department
Media relations and the Collège’s public profile
Organization of special events, such as the symposium and annual general meeting, press conferences
Web site, newsletter and social media management
Coordination of the production of the Collège’s publications
Processing of access to information requests 

You can contact the staff of the Executive Office from Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
