SHARE

This is the eighth and last of a series of monthly capsules on the new classes of membership fees.

The 2016-2017 membership renewal period will begin shortly. Remember that when you complete your renewal notice, you must choose one of the following classes of membership fees, effective from July 1, 2016.

  • Active member: a physician who declares that he practices the medical profession (activities set out in section 31 of the Medical Act) or holds a position that requires him to be a member of the Collège des médecins du Québec.

  • Inactive member: a physician who declares that he does not practice the medical profession and does not hold a position that requires him to be a member of the Collège des médecins du Québec.

Here is a summary table showing whether or not activities are authorized depending on the class of membership fee.
