Influenza A(H1N1)

From Retired to Active Physician

Retired physicians who wish to change classification in order to be able to participate in the Influenza A(H1N1) prevention and control effort must follow the procedure below.

  • Contact the Administrative Services Department at (514) 933-4087.

  • Complete the request for change of status (no charge) and fax it to (514) 933-4883. This request will be studied within 48 hours of receipt.

  • Provide proof of professional liability insurance.

  • Agree to restrict practice to clinical activities related to the prevention and control of Influenza A(H1N1).

  • If not already done, preferably get vaccinated as per the recommendation of the Collège des médecins du Québec and public health authorities.

Information capsules have been prepared by medical authorities to familiarize physicians with the various subjects pertaining to the A(H1N1) Flu pandemic.
