6.  Successfully pass the OSCE of the CMQ or the MCCQE part II

You must successfully pass one of the two following examinations:


- the Medical Clinical Sciences Examination of the Collège des médecins du Québec (OSCE: This is an objective structured clinical examination)
or
- the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) part II

OSCE of the CMQ
You must register to this examination with the CMQ
Examination date: August 22, 2009
Examination center: Québec
Eligibility and registration to the OSCE: To be eligible for this examination, you must have submitted your application for recognition of equivalence of your medical degree. Furthermore, you must have passed:

- in 2008 or before, the written part of the Medical Clinical Sciences Examination of the Collège des médecins du Québec (this examination is no longer offered)
or
- the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) part I

MCCQE part II
You must register with the Medical Council of Canada. Providing the proof of successful completion of the MCCQE Part II exempts you from the OSCE of the CMQ.
